Job Purpose:

Assists Assistant Director of Human Resources in facilitating Human Resources functions,ensuring efficient and quality services in the areas of staff movement, payroll administration, employee relations and maintenance of employee records.

Key Accountabilities:

Employee Relations

  • Organizes employee relations activities as planned and assigned
  • Prepares action plan and progress rundown for the responsible activities
  • Communicates activity details to the staff members through email, notice and Sphere

Leave Administration

  • Ensures the data accuracy and integrity in the HRIS system
  • Monitors sick leave entitlements, manages unpaid sick leave and special paid leave documents when necessary
  • Follows up medical issues and enquiries from the staff members

General Administrations

  • Maintains and updates the staff record in the HR system and personnel file
  • Assists in the staff ID card and name badge replacement
  • Applies and renews working permits and keeps track of the expiry date of work permits and dependent visa
  • Coordinates monthly report (e.g. turnover reports, exit interview analysis reports)
  • Issues general requisition for office supplies
  • Updates display of notice and information on staff notice board
  • Performs any ad-hoc project/ activity as assigned

Job Specification:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in HR generalist role including compensation and benefits, performance management and employee relations
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Good knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft HRIS will be an advantage
  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance of HKSAR will be an advantage
  • Excellent numerical sense and analytical skills
