We are looking for a high caliber professional to join the IT Infrastructure Branch, Information Technology Group of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited.

 

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:

 

  • As the first line supervisor for the End User Computing (EUC) team to build, monitor and support the end user workspace solution, includes the hardware, software and security within the standard desktop platform, architecture and design of the software distribution infrastructure, Mobile Device Management systems, Microsoft Office Systems, SharePoint and conferencing facility
  • Take ownership of the EUC strategies, standards, policies and future planning for the best user experience and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure the reliability of application system to meet the SLA requirement
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of staff performance in support of business and/or technical requirements
  • Suggest technical implementation plans and produce technical documentations
  • Propose system or work improvement to streamline services delivery in particular technology support for applications
  • Manage vendors and services providers for solution planning, project deliverables and technical support activities
  • Coordinating with project managers and other team leaders and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Regional business travel may be required

 

Requirements:

 

  • A recognised university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of IT experience in EUC implementation, client rollout and support
  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Hands-on background on Windows Server / Desktop, Microsoft Office, Configuration Management and had participated in full-scale rollout of Microsoft Office, including deployment to computers, as well as users communication, training and change management
  • Knowledge and experience on Microsoft Windows client, System Centre Configuration Manager, Exchange and Skype for Business hybrid environment, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, iOS device, Mobile Device Management, PowerShell automation are preferred
  • Preferably EUC, ITIL, Project Management related certification, e.g. MCSE, ITIL, PMP, SCRUM Master, etc
  • Ability to plan, manage, analyse, design, propose and communicate technical solution for applications to meet business needs
  • Good business knowledge and requirement gathering techniques
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Passion in new technology, demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and standards
  • Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Fluent in Cantonese, written and spoken English. Putonghua will be an advantage
