Established by the Government in 1989, The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) has five schools, namely the School of Arts & Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business & Administration, School of Education & Languages, School of Science & Technology, and the Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional & Continuing Education. Through them, we have been providing full-time and part-time programmes at undergraduate, post-graduate, and sub-degree levels.
Today we have over 9,000 full-time and 10,000 part-time students at OUHK with more than 220 programmes of studies. Lecturer (English Cultural Literacy)
We are now inviting applications for the following post in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:
Lecturer (English Cultural Literacy) (Ref: 16-L(ECL)-280-O)
The appointee will assist in the planning, development, coordination and delivery (including lecture and tutorial teaching) of face-to-face and distance learning courses in English Cultural Literacy. He/she will be expected to participate in School/University activities and services.
Applicants should have at least a higher degree in a related discipline and demonstrate teaching/professional experience. Relevant experience at tertiary level is highly preferred. A good command of English is required.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, where applicable.
