COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
Established in 2000, the College of International Education (CIE) is a self-funded unit of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), offering full-time Associate Degree Programme and Undergraduate Honours Degree Programmes at both the HKBU Kowloon Tong and Shatin Shek Mun campuses. The CIE, managed by the School of Continuing Education (SCE), one of the seven Faculties/Schools of HKBU, currently enrolls about 5,000 students, and is committed to sustaining the University’s mission of providing quality whole-person higher education with a Christian heritage. Introduction to Oral History
The appointee is required to perform teaching duties in related disciplines; provide academic guidance to students; organise and coordinate experiential learning activities for students; and assist in the ongoing review and design of courses and programmes. Applicants should have a strong link with industries and professional bodies and acquired relevant professional qualifications.
Applicants should have a higher degree, preferably a doctorate degree in related disciplines and relevant teaching experience.Applicants must show dedication and strong commitment in teaching and education within and beyond the classroom. They must also be a good team player with excellent communication skills.
Reference salary range:
Lecturer I : HK$43,000 - HK$69,000
Lecturer II : HK$32,000 - HK$42,000
The appointee will be required to serve at either/both the Kowloon Tong and Shatin Shek Mun campuses.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
