Established by the Government in 1989, The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) has five academic units, namely the School of Arts & Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business & Administration, School of Education & Languages, School of Science & Technology, and the Li Ka Shing Institute of Professional & Continuing Education. Through them, we provide full-time and part-time programmes at undergraduate, post-graduate, and sub-degree levels.

Duties

The appointee will assist in the course planning and development as well as undertake course coordination, clinical assessments and mentoring, and classroom teaching in related disciplines.  He/she will also be expected to participate in scholarly activities and School/University activities.

 

Requirements

Applicants should have a higher degree in Nursing or a related discipline, and be licensed by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong to practise as a Registered Nurse.  Relevant teaching/professional experience in the areas of Adult and Child Nursing, Mental Health Nursing or other Clinical Nursing Specialties is preferred.  A good command of English and Chinese is required.

 

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract.  Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits and gratuity, where applicable.
