(Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Marketing Manager)

The Marketing Manager will assist Head of Marketing to secure cash and in kind sponsorships, events management, marketing & hospitality activities of the Society.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure marketing opportunities for cash and in-kind sponsorships for the Society;
  • Solicit sponsorships, advertising and sales for the events and activities of the Society;
  • Secure revenue deals through the preparation and execution of proposals, presentations and events, including the fulfillment of entitlements to corporate sponsors, patrons, foundations, private and public sectors;
  • Maintain a sponsor and market intelligence database;
  • Provide on-site support in all Society’s events;
  • Assist in marketing, PR and event activities of the Society;
  • Coordinate with designers and production houses on promotional materials;
  • Proofread all outgoing promotional materials to ensure the accuracy;
  • Ensure all agreed barter deliverables are executed in time;
  • Handle media enquiries;
  • Manage the librarianship of news clippings;
  • Manage the librarianship of event photos and videos;
  • Prepare various reports and analyses on sales and sponsorship programme; marketing and events reports; and thank you packages to sponsors and festival supporters; and
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • University Graduate with major in Business/Marketing/Mass Communications with 5 years experience in relevant fields;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good sense in figures;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
  • Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of Adobe software, such as AI and Photoshop, is an advantage;
  • Required to work overtime and at irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during peak seasons
