Officer (Facilities and Campus Management) (PR115-2/16-17)
The appointee will be responsible for assisting in managing an outsourced security team of over 100 personnel, and ensuring the provision of quality security service for on-campus and off-campus premises of the University. Duties include reviewing and implementing security procedures and practices; preparing security plans for University’s events/functions; monitoring daily operation of security services and systems, conducting drills to ensure the effective performance of security functions, and liaising and coordinating with stakeholders or law enforcement departments to assess potential threats on campus security and operations.
Applicants should have a recognised degree with at least six years of post-qualification work experience in security field or related disciplines. Good knowledge and practical experience in security systems such as closed circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system, alarm management system and car park management system are essential. Solid experience in developing security processes, procedures and standards will be an advantage. Good communication and language skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required. They should be hard-working, self-motivated, customer-oriented, and able to work collaboratively and independently. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
