The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent, self-funded and not-for-profit statutory body. Its main role is to conduct the HKDSE. It also administers other assessment projects and examinations leading to academic, professional or practical qualifications on behalf of international examining bodies and local professional bodies. Applications are now invited for the following post:
Officer – Information Technology
Duties:The appointee will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of various IT application systems.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science related disciplines;
At least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in computer application system development and maintenance;
Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, Hibernate, PL/SQL, Oracle and java-based application framework;
Skills in Project Management and cyber security definitely an advantage;
Knowledge of mobile software development an advantage;
Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English; and
Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Assistant Officer – Information Technology.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will initially be on a fixed-term contract with MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
