Part-time Business Case Competition Consultant (at the rank of Lecturer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 201601353)

Applications are invited for appointment as Part-time Business Case Competition Consultant (at the rank of Lecturer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics, to commence as soon as possible for a period of one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in business or a related discipline, and have relevant teaching, training, coaching, or adjudicating experience.  They should possess excellent presentation and communication skills with a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.  In addition to the ability to provide students with constant insight and methods for improvement, the appointee should take pride in helping undergraduate students to discover and develop their potentials.  Proven record of winning competitions would be an advantage.  

The appointee will assist in student selection process for local and international case competitions.  He/She is required to identify the training needs of undergraduate students, develop teaching materials and provide professional training sessions for students on various types of skills: business case analysis, strategic thinking, problem-solving, information research, presentation, teamwork, and leadership.  The appointee will lead student teams to participate in local competitions and travel with students overseas to participate in international case competitions.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
