School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE)
The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) that offers top-up degree programmes in collaboration with local and overseas universities. These programmes, offered in both full-time and part-time modes, are primarily designed for Higher Diploma graduates of the VTC. Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties at bachelor degree level, including supervision of students' projects, laboratories and field works;
(b) To review and prepare teaching and learning packages with both international and local contexts and practices;
(c) To carry out administration duties and attend meetings in relation to student and academic administration; and
(d) To participate in departmental projects and functions, where necessary.

Requirements:
(a) A minimum of a Master’s degree, and preferably an earned doctorate, in related disciplines;
(b) At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary / degree level or professional experience at an appropriate level of responsibility in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Transport, Water and Environmental Engineering; and
(c) Proven record of research, and preferably experience of dissertation / project supervision, for research project supervisor.
