Part-time Teaching Assistant

CUHK MBA Programmes were launched in 1966 and serve as the longest running MBA programmes in the region. We were ranked 26th worldwide in the latest 2016 Financial Times ranking.

 

Applicants should (i) have a good Bachelor’s degree in business administration or business-related discipline; (ii) possess proficient IT and computer applications skills and hands-on experience in Learning Management Systems; (iii) demonstrate a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese as well as good knowledge of Putonghua; (iv) have experience in supporting teaching of postgraduate courses such as entrepreneurship, venture capital and private equity, fundraising and venture business, etc.; (v) have excellent PowerPoint skills; (vi) have interpersonal skills, a mature personality and a strong sense of responsibility; (vii) be highly motivated, proactive and organized with multi-tasking ability; and (viii) be able to work independently with a strong service mindset. Irregular working hours may be required.

 

The appointee will assist in the preparation of course materials/classes and teaching support, provision of pre- and post- course coordination and support; student consultation/supervision, running the Learning Management Systems, organizing workshops/seminars, updating the website of PAVD Platform, aiding overseas trips’ logistics and onsite support and other academic as well as administrative activities as assigned.

 

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one to two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement. The appointee is expected to work about 20 hours a week.
