Job Summary

Willis   Towers Watson is undergoing a major Operational Improvement Program (OIP) to   transform its business operations. This is a 4.5 year programme, and is very   high profile and central to delivering business strategy.

Reporting directly   to the Head of Change, the PMO will be responsible for ensuring the smooth   running of the programme across Asia - with central PMO Programme support based   out of the UK. The responsibilities will mean working closely with, and where   necessary deputizing for, the Head of Change or country / sub-regional   Transformation & Change Leads around governance activities.

As well as   strong PMO skills, clear elevator pitch communication style and excellent   financial literacy are essential and the role will demand an ability to build   influential relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and   programme.


Principal   Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provides   full PMO support to regional programme leadership
  • Management   and reporting against business cases and benefits delivery including but not   limited to:
    • Setting up   work plan profiles once Business Cases approved and handing to Project   Managers
    • Weekly   checks on time / cost / quality profiles of projects and inputs into the PlanView   System
    • Administers   PlanView to update programme status.
    • Annual /   periodic reconciliations as required
      • Work closely   with the Transformation   & Change Leads plus workstream   Project Managers to support delivery of the programme as a whole
      •   Deputize   where necessary
      • Identify and support priorities, ensuring the   programme is appropriately resourced and focused
      • Track the delivery of the   programme
      • Includes plans, issues and risks,   identifying resolution
      • Provide analysis and qualitative   commentary on financial data
      • Hold owners accountable and   escalate where necessary
      • Managing the provision of high   quality, accurate, timely data to the programme and business
      • Includes costs, benefits and   progress against plans
      • Meet requirements from Central   PMOs and executive committees/operational committees
      • Supports and provides commercial inputs to the Programme   Finance function
      • Provide secretariat services,   including documentation preparation,   for the Steering meetings
      • Management of the PMO function
        • Managing stakeholders and their requirements,   pushing back where necessary
        • Ensure accurate administration of the OIP Delivery   Partner (Accenture) and any other major 3rd party suppliers to the   program
        • Drafts documents as directed especially   slide-ware, spreadsheets and agendas.
        • Collates status reports and completes programme reports   which will go to senior executives.
        • Responsible for logistics for meetings,   preparation, agenda, papers, minutes.
        • Monitors Change control and manages the Change   process.
        • Make appropriate use of PMO capability in Mumbai – as useful and required.
        • Provides analytical support and completes ad hoc   requests as required.
