We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Process ReEngineering and Production Management Lead, Hong Kong. 

In this role, you will

  • ReEngineering and Production Management Retail Banking and Wealth Management Country Execution Leads are typically responsible the delivery of globally driven, globally coordinated or priority market ReEngineering initiatives.
  • Operating at a senior level with business and ReEngineering and Production Management stakeholders, acting as the main of contact for ReEngineering.
  • Managing and engaging multiple stakeholders, meeting their expectations, negotiating in situations of conflicting interests and influencing key decision makers in a positive manner, to drive end to end collaboration and work closely with Retail Banking and Wealth Management teams and Global Service Centres and HSBC Operations, Services and Technology in particular Operations.
  • Leading the execution of the ReEngineering effort associated with a wider business transformation programme and support business development and demand, when required.
  • Collaboration with other global, regional and local ReEngineering and Production Management teams to ensure commonality of approach, methods and tools and consistency of advice and solution provision
  • Provide timely reporting on process ReEngineering projects programme status, risks and issues, evaluating performance based on management information
  • Working across global, country and regional teams to ensure commonality of understanding and objectives. Local teams are focused on delivering against global imperatives, whilst those same global imperatives are shaped to reflect the business needs of the country and region
  • Driving a performance management based culture to manage and improve performance and directing team’s work efforts towards customer outcomes

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Experience working in relevant environment, The ReEngineering and Production Management Retail Banking and Wealth Management Country Execution Lead must have significant experience working on process reengineering initiatives in HSBC or other large complex organisations.
  • Financial services organisation and industry experience is required, alongside specific functional expertise and an excellent working knowledge and relationship with both Operations and Retail Banking and Wealth Management, including Branch and Contact Centre
  • Six Sigma Black Belt qualification with strong proven experience and application in process variability reduction, process redesign and waste reduction principles.
  • Past working experience in a relevant role with proven track record of building, fostering and maintaining best practice solutions and tools to improve and optimise work flow, identifying opportunities for synergy and integration, simplifying complex processes and maximising production with fewer resources.
  • Experience in managing others and directing work efforts to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently, working in an agile way and being part of a team both internal and external to HSBC
  • Delivered complex projects and programmes and have experience in working across geographical locations
  • Proven track record on the ability to execute at pace and influence and direct stakeholders to deliver the right outcome from the customer and our colleagues whilst improving the customer experience and protect global standards
