Responsibilities

  • Work with the Producer, oversee the development and production of all new high profile show and special event product for the Theme Park and Hotels
  • Maintain close partnership and oversight of relevant production teams during concept development, production, auditions, casting, rehearsals and opening of medium to low profile events and entertainment product, ensuring projects are delivered to design, on budget and on time
  • Work closely with the Manager, Entertainment Services to ensure the smooth opening of and efficient running of the highest quality, well maintained technical elements in the Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) Entertainment menu
  • Manage and mentor Producer and Manager, Entertainment Services. Ensure clear development opportunities are identified and that these form a part of the long term planning for the Entertainment team
  • Establish, evaluate, and direct long term business strategies, policies, and procedures for the Production and Entertainment Services teams
  • Work closely with internal partners, segment portfolio leaders, external vendors and clients in developing, producing and operating Entertainment product.  This includes, but is not limited to, acting as the HKDL Producer on all park expansion entertainment elements
  • Ensure highest level of Guest service with regards to Show, Efficiency, Courtesy, and Safety

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree preferably in stage management, show direction, technical direction, or theatrical production
  • At least 15 years of experience in large-scale shows and events production, with 10 years in a managerial position
  • Should have a well-rounded understanding of the live entertainment industry with a proven technical sensibility and track record
  • Able to interact with multiple internal parties as well as vendors, clients and government licensing bodies
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organization skills, with the ability to build and manage budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage individuals and teams
  • Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of diverse Cast Members
