Job description:

  • Oversee the production operations to ensure resources are utilized efficiently and effectively;
  • Ensure production schedules and quality meeting the requirements consistently ;
  • Implement production plans, provide feedback and solution around equipment efficiency, material supply, schedules and staffing requirements in order to meet the company goals;
  • Plan and drive the implementation of Total Productivity Maintenance program to ensure targets are met;
  • Develop, review and execute standard operating procedures in order to improve operational consistency;
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives and Lean programs to drive for improvement in production process and quality;
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are executed in accordance to requirements;
  • Drives a culture of operational excellence from shop floor employees to managerial staffs;
  • Holds management and employees accountable to the company’s culture and values;
  • Develop and manage operating budgets;
  • Perform all ad hoc assignment by management.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Production Engineering or Business Administration ;
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in manufacturing, of which at least 3 years in senior managerial position;
  • Solid experience in production management, strong technical skills in Lean Manufacturing and process improvement;
  • Certified Lean Master and/or Six Sigma Black Belt;
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Production Process Improvement is required;
  • Experience in printing industry is a preferred;
  • Strong leadership: a demonstration ability to lead people and get results through others;
  • Strong customer oriented mindset;
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills, good organization and planning skills;
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;
  • Good command of spoken Mandarin;
  • Station in Dongguan plant.
