Department of Chinese Language and Literature

The Department of Chinese Language and Literature invites applications for a tenure-track position of full Professor with the expertise in Chinese Linguistics or relevant disciplines, such as grammar, syntax, phonology, paleography, etc. The appointee is expected to (a) teach courses in Chinese Linguistics and related subjects; (b) supervise students in thesis writing;
(c) design, prepare, and revise course syllabi; and (d) perform administrative duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in Chinese Language and Literature or relevant disciplines, be a leading scholar in Chinese Linguistics or relevant fields with exceptional track record of high-quality research and scholarly publications.
