Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Program to execute existing orphan care programs and develop strategic plans in the area of disable children and youth development
  • Ensure effective project execution, timely monitoring and reporting, evaluating and managing database
  • Conduct regular meetings with workers and related stakeholders to review case plans and discuss interim measures and follow up steps
  • Provide coaching and supervision to partners and caseworkers
  • Assist in formulation and review of operation guideline and policies of Qinghai Program
  • Communicate and liaise with partners on existing project implementation and monitoring as well as new project initiation
  • Maintain effective partner relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Organize visit, volunteer tours and involve in Organization events and initiatives
  • Handle tasks assigned by the Head of Program

Requirements

  • A social work bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years experiences in therapeutic service to children and young adult with disabilities
  • Network with churches is preferable
  • Demonstrate tracked record in managing service or project for disabled children or young adult
  • Demonstrate commitment to working collaboratively and the capacity to negotiate and liaise with staff, partners and other organizations
  • Mature, organized and with excellent communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Enjoy working in an efficient, energetic environment and keeping sense of humor
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
  • Competent in MS Office, Chinese word processing and good PC knowledge
  • Experience in INGO in China will be an advantage
