Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division
The Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division (ECEED), an academic arm of the School of Continuing Education, is the premier provider of early childhood and primary school teacher education in Hong Kong. It currently offers a range of academic programmes on a full-time or part-time basis to 2,000 students pursuing courses with qualifications awarded from certificate to postgraduate levels. Its training programmes on early childhood education are supported by the Hong Kong Baptist University Kindergarten which provides a training platform for the students of ECE programmes. Applications are now invited for the following position:
The appointee will be responsible for (i) financial management and budgeting; (ii) planning and administering tutor related issues; (iii) office administration and central filing; (iv) personnel administration such as staff recruitment and work schedules; and (v) participating and contributing in the organisation and coordination of various Division exercises such as Student Study Tour.
Applicants should possess a university degree with at least three years of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to applicants possessing strong IT and statistical skills. Knowledge in higher education settings will be desirable. They should also possess effective communication skill and a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
