The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (“HKADC”) is organising an arts project which brings together home-grown artists with worldwide recognition in various art forms, and introduces them to Hong Kong citizens in the second half of 2017. The project will present a fine collection of works which have been selected to showcase in signature international arts events since 2015. By providing professional settings and full support, HKADC enables these aspiring artists to engage the Hong Kong community, educate and inspire the audiences and bring the best out of their artistic talent.
We are looking for Manager(s) to execute the project. The manager will be responsible for planning, execution and publicity of all performances, educational and community events in the arts festival. He/she is also required to manage project budget, prepare periodic financial reports and liaise and coordinate with different artists, arts groups and stakeholders.
- University degree holder with minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in project or festival management, preferably in the arts sector.
- Possession of performance arts production or visual arts / media arts exhibition coordination experience will be a strong advantage.
- Must be able to work independently and in a small team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Possess excellent project management and inter-personal skills with good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua.
The appointee will be offered a temporary contract for 2 years. Salary offered will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
