The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, working with more than 150 ophthalmologists and visual scientists in Hong Kong and Mainland China, is committed to advancing patient services, research, training and education to the highest possible standard in all major areas of ophthalmology and visual sciences. We are looking for candidates for the following position to further strengthen our research.
Project Co-ordinator II (Ref. 1600025C) (closing date: November 15, 2016)
Applicant should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 1 to 2 years’ post-qualification full-time work experience, preferably in public relations, event organisation and management; (iii) good communication and interpersonal skills; (iv) good verbal, written and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and (v) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, the ability to work independently, multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Duties include (a) planning, co-ordinating and organising events; (b) liaising with internal and external units for collaborations and events; and (c) performing other tasks as assigned. Appointment will be made on a 1- or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
