Project Co-ordinator II (Ref. 170000BQ) (closing date: March 28, 2017)
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ administrative work experience, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iii) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing; (v) strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and (vii) the ability to manage multi-projects independently and under pressure. Experience in database and event management is preferred. The appointee will work under the Personnel Management and Research Administration Team of the Faculty and Planning Office. Duties include (a) organising the Faculty’s training workshops and programmes; (b) managing various research schemes and co-ordinating research-related activities, such as interviews and grant-writing workshops; (c) handling personnel matters; and (d) performing other tasks as assigned. Appointment will be made on a 1- or 2-year contract (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract) commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
