The Office of Academic Links serves as the international relations arms for the University. One of its key engagements is the promotion and administration of bilateral student exchange programmes and short-term study abroad programmes outside Hong Kong. The Office is now seeking a high-calibre candidate to join its team of professionals dedicated to the internationalisation of the University.
Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Communications Co-ordinator, OAL’)

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications or related disciplines; (ii) at least 2 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in an academic or digital marketing setting; (iii) native or near native English with creative writing techniques; (iv) a proven track record of writing on publications; (v) excellent communication and problem-solving skills; and (vi) the ability to work independently and under pressure. Relevant overseas work and study abroad experience is highly preferred. Proficiency in website, video and image editing software will be advantageous. Duties include (a) providing excellent English copywriting for internal and external communication materials to support marketing and digital marketing campaigns; (b) co-ordinating with production house on design and production of promotional materials; (c) creating and executing effective marketing and communications strategies; (d) planning and managing social media platforms; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for an English written test.
