Job Summary

The project officer is responsible for the film logistics of Overseas Hong Kong Film Festivals 2017 project, and to assist in operational tasks of the HKIFF 2017.

Responsibilities:

  • To negotiate of film rentals with right holders across all territories concerned, and in arranging the booking, shipping, and delivery of film prints/dcps to overseas destinations;
  • To liaise with film distributors/overseas local partners / government departments as required by the Society;
  • To co-ordinate and ensure the shipment of prints between the film sources and HKIFF is on schedule and to the designated locations;
  • To prepare weekly report on progress of the Overseas Hong Kong Film Festivals 2017 project;
  • To assist in operational task of the HKIFF 2017; and
  • To perform any other tasks as assigned by management from time to time

Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' working experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency of PC skills (MS Word, Excel and Access)
