Department of Biology

The appointee is expected to conduct inter-disciplinary research in marine environmental science projects supported by the “Regional Centre of Excellence in Marine Pollution” of the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) and State Key Laboratory in Marine Pollution (SKLMP).

Applicants should have a good honours degree or above in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Environmental Science, or Biology. Relevant laboratory experience in molecular biology is preferred. They should be able to work independently. Outgoing and energetic personality are expected.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
