Retail Training Manager/ Assistant Manager – Fashion Apparel / Sports / Footwear

Our clients, top-leading retail brands, with their expansion in Hong Kong, are looking for suitable candidates for Retail Training Manager/ Assistant Manager – Fashion Apparel / Sports / Footwear to join their growing team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Management

Develop the retail training strategy on service, sales and products in alignment with business priorities and channel KPIs

Create and utilize both internal and external resources to enhance training modules

Organize training requirement surveys with relevant parties and design training plan in accordance with the training need’s analysis results

Organize and execute training activities for both own retail and external franchise retailers.

Manage training programs to sales force of own retail and the other retailers

Design and deliver training programs, including orientation, product knowledge, customer service, selling skills and self-improvement etc. 

Develop the training materials and training manual

Evaluate the results and effectiveness of training by using different approaches, and improves the training effectiveness accordingly

Oversee the service standard to meet the company’s standard

Conduct field coaching to keep track the effectiveness of customer service standard and training effectiveness

Collaborate with Retail Operations team and HR to develop retail sales training and off site training

Plan and execute the implementation of Global retail initiatives

 

Financial

Keep track the training expenses within the approved plan

 

System and Processes

Maintain the training database and keep track of the training records of different shops and frontline staff

Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or Department Heads

 

REQUIREMENTS

University graduate

6+ years relevant retail/servicing industry training experience with at least 3 years' in MNC; previous experience in development and facilitation of training programs

Experience in international brand is an advantage

Ability to develop interactive, creative, and comprehensive training programs in a variety of areas

Structured and organized, ability to develop training plans and assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness

Strong analytical, problem-solving and facilitation skills to enable effectiveness and efficiency of training

Team player and able to work with diverse culture

Independent, detail-oriented and hands on

Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (speaking & writing) for business communication

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Training Manager
