This company is an established and successful homeware products sourcing and product development company with long-term retail customers in various markets around the world. An opening exists for a senior account manager to join the organisation in the Hong Kong.
In this role, you will manage existing key accounts and new accounts and will work with factories and internal design teams on various homeware products for new product development and existing lines. You will analyse data and have the ability to develop sales forecasts, set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and/or monthly basis. You will provide customers with great service attending to close detail on customer product selections and meeting all deadlines. You will work in a team, exercise effective judgement, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations and demonstrate an understanding of the sales process and utilise sales tools to maximize market leverage accordingly.
- University graduate with 5+ years in account management
- A sales background with knowledge of sourcing, merchandising and product development
- An extensive network of contacts amongst international retailers
- An excellent command of English; Chinese is a plus
- Willing to travel occasionally
