Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanations of results and trends
  • Provide explanations of results and recommendations to various stakeholders
  • Review disclosures related to non-guaranteed benefits to ensure they comply with GN16 and are in accordance with our dividend / bonus philosophy
  • Asset share and guaranteed charge calculation and management
  • Coordinate with other team members of the local Actuarial team and Regional Inforce and Life Actuarial team on assumptions, methodology, results and information required
  • Identify and implement process improvements for the asset share calculation and dividend / bonus determination processes
  • Provide support for various studies and enquiries relating to the participating business
  • Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods and financial results, as well as up-to-date documentation of processes


Requirements:
  • Passed SOA examination courses 1-4 or equivalent
  • 3 or more years' experience in life insurance industry
  • Able to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Actuarial Analyst
