HKCAAVQ has embarked on a strategic initiative to proactively develop and promote its consulting services to local and overseas clients from the public and private sectors, initially Macao, Mainland China and South East Asia. HKCAAVQ is building up its consulting team via a phased approach to support this initiative.

The Senior Consultant will assist in charting and executing the development of consulting services by means of market identification and development, organising marketing campaigns and outreach programmes, client relationship building, and risk analysis and management. He/She will assist in coordinating and managing consulting projects through developing proposals, contract and resource management, and client and project team management. In addition, he/she will work as a project/case officer in projects conducted by the Consulting team; duties may include conducting background research, data collection and interviews; organising focus groups and workshops; conducting analysis; and writing reports.

Requirements
Applicants should hold at least a first degree comparable to HKQF Level 5, preferably with a post-graduate qualification at HKQF Level 6 or above and training or experience in research or marketing. We are looking for an individual who has relevant work experience in consulting and/or business development, preferably in the education market or in professional bodies. Knowledge of quality assurance and developments in education and training in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region will be a definite advantage.

The successful candidate should be a self-starter with good business acumen. He/She needs to have hands-on project management skills, good problem-solving and planning ability. He/She should be a team-player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written English and Chinese including Putonghua). Some travel may be required.

 

Conditions of Service and Application Procedures
Initial appointment will normally be made on a two-year contract subject to renewal. We offer competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, contract-end gratuity, plus fringe benefits including annual leave and medical and dental benefits.
