We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Customer Due Diligence Manager, 1 Year Contract.

In this role, you will

  • Leading a small team of Subject Matter Experts on deriving the Customer Due Diligence process and procedures for a Managed Service for Commercial Banking, ensuring the delivery of business requirements, Management Information, Quality Framework, usability and implementation, where applicable, identify improvement opportunity via automation
  • Ensure that relevant and timely inputs and updates are provided to HSBC Management, covering Customer Due Diligence deployment progress, operational performance and anticipated impact on account of policy changes
  • Identify and mitigate any execution risk on process and procedures and the overall implementation.
  • Demonstrate HSBC Values and behaviors and ensure that the Customer Due Diligence teams embody these values and principles at all times.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Extensive experience in Operations and Risk Management, Commercial Banking Account Opening and Servicing operation, including but not limited to strong operational control capabilities
  • Knowledge on Customer Due Diligence, Sanction and Anti Money Laundering is a plus
  • Proven track record in delivery, project management and process improvement
  • Relationship management, programme, change and project management skills
  • Experience of managing resources to achieve objectives using appropriate communication delegation and planning skills.
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining time scales and quality of output.
  • A strong ability to demonstrate effective risk assessments and an in depth understanding of group policies.
