Tung Wah College (the “College”), established in 2010 under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap.320), is a self-financing tertiary institution, incorporated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (“TWGHs”). The College followed the ideals of TWGHs which are being focused on serving the people of Hong Kong since 1870 by upholding its motto as “to heal the sick and to relieve the distressed; to care for the elderly and to rehabilitate the disabled; to promote education and to nurture youngsters; and to raise the infants and to guide the youth". Leveraging the renowned strengths and expertise of TWGHs, the College is committed to offering secondary school leavers with high quality education, and set to become a renowned private university specialized in training healthcare professionals.
The College is a diverse private tertiary institution which is currently offering degree and sub-degree programmes in Nursing, Health Sciences, Medical Science, Business Administration, Rehabilitation and Social Sciences. The appointee will be responsible for planning and management of the Administrative Support Section of the Office. He/She will be required to assist in preparation of proposals, reports, and relevant policies / regulations / workflows / procedures initiated by the Office; maintain the Office's information and record management systems; provide secretarial support to committees and meetings; plan and manage budgets; and supervise a small team of junior staff.
Applicants should possess a recognized bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 5 years of working experience in administration and office management, preferably gained in tertiary education sector; excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; literacy in computer applications; good organizational and communications skills; a strong sense of responsibility; and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Executive Officer.
Salary will be competitive and will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
