Internationalisation and External Relations Section

The appointee will be responsible for planning and driving the School’s communication, branding, and alumni activities. The successful candidate is expected to be capable of formulating and supervising the School’s communication efforts, including managing the School’s publications and news reports, and spearheading marketing activities locally and internationally. Candidates with a strong understanding of digital marketing will have an advantage.

The candidate will also be tasked with re-establishing the School’s brand position in the Hong Kong and global community, and leading re-branding projects that ultimately re-enforce the School’s values. In terms of alumni affairs, the candidate should possess good inter-personal skills to connect and plan activities for these important stakeholders of the School. The appointee will report to the Associate Dean (Internationalisation and External Relations) and head a small team to work towards the above objectives.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above with at least seven years of relevant work experience, preferably in communications and marketing in the university context. Applicants should also have an outgoing personality and a genuine interest in people. Excellent communication, administrative and IT skills are essential.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
