The Department is comprised of faculty members of diverse backgrounds, who are active researchers in the fields of Marketing and International Business. The Department ( http://www.LN.edu.hk/mkt) is responsible for the undergraduate BBA programme in Marketing and a Master of Science degree programme in Marketing and International Business, and is committed to producing graduates with a broad-based liberal arts education to meet the challenges of a wide range of business professions.

 

General Requirements

For appointment as Senior Lecturer, candidates should have a doctoral degree in the relevant discipline and substantial  relevant teaching / industrial experience (normally not less than   eight years including at least five years’ professional experience). For appointment as Lecturer, candidates should have a postgraduate degree, preferably a doctoral degree in the relevant discipline and at least four years’ relevant experience. The appointee is expected to teach a range of Marketing subjects. Ability to teach Introductory Economics is a MUST.

 

Appointment

The conditions of appointment will be competitive.  The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee. Appointment will normally be made on a fixed-termcontract of up totwoyears.
