We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Business Development and Proposition, Regional Client Coverage. 

In this role, you will

  • Contribution to the setting and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management strategy covering Corporate, Business Banking and taking into account Product requirements, including acting as the working level lead on specific work streams within the project to select and deploy a next generation Customer Relationship Management platform
  • Support the working level Commercial banking lead on Digital Transformation for Corporates programme, ensuring the Digital Transformation for Corporates strategy and deliverables complement the developing Customer Relationship Management and client facing system landscape, such as HSBCnet Upgrade, Global Business Banking Proposition
  • Support the incremental development of existing Customer Relationship Management tools, including ClientVision, Relationship Management Portal, Sales Enablement, DealPoint, DealPoint Express and ensuring maximum value is generated from these tools while also charting a path to provide a more consolidated or streamlined or efficient Customer Relationship Management tool landscape for the front line community
  • Whilst the incumbent will interface with counterparts at Global, Regional and Country levels, but will have specific focus upon requirement gathering and synthesis for Asia and subsequent implementation. This role is also accountable to the Global Client Coverage team, hence, the geographic scope is Global and will encompasses all Corporate and Business Banking businesses across Asia, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and North America.
  • Achieving the outlined responsibilities requires extensive interfacing with and navigation of Regional and Country business units, Product teams, Analytics, Data, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Stands Software Delivery, Transformation, Compliance, Legal and Human Resources.
  • A key member of the Regional Client Coverage team who will play an integral role the development and implementation of a long term strategic vision that enables Asia Pacific Corporate markets to drive revenue growth 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • A solid number of years banking experience with strong and broad Commercial banking foundation, including experience across commercial banking product set and channel.
  • Strong understanding of external digital environment and Customer Relationship Management within the financial services sector
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
  • Ability to extract simplicity and summaries outputs from a wide and complex range of data and insight
  • Experience of effectively working with stakeholders across business, function and geography and at all levels of seniority within the organization
  • Past experience of working with external 3rd parties such as vendors or consultants
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience with key Global Commercial banking systems and Market Intelligence, such as HORIS, Cognos, TM1, ClientVision, CARM, and Global Links
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to challenge information presented
  • Ability to work under pressure and with conflicting and rapidly changing priorities, together with a willingness to work outside of standard hours to satisfy global time zones.
  • Ability to elicit requirements from the business in an accurate and timely manner
