The appointee will provide management and administrative support to the Dean, and will be responsible for coordinating and executing major faculty-wide activities and projects, handling personnel, finance, and public relations matters, serving committees, and maintaining good communication within the Faculty and with external bodies.
Applicants should have a good university degree, preferably a Master’s degree, and at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should be mature and demonstrate good leadership calibre. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), a strong sense of responsibility, sound analytical and organisation skills are all essential. Candidates with substantial work experience will be considered for the post of Senior Manager.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two to three years. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
