Reporting to the Group Head of Operations, you will be supervising a newly established team to mainly support first line units to comply with bank-wide regulatory and compliance requirements from the implementation perspective, and improve the effectiveness of the customer due diligence process.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the bank-level operation guidelines for in-scope bank-wide compliance programs such as FATCA, CRS, DPS, CDP, and advise and provide implementation support to first line units
  • Review the overall implementation status of the relevant compliance programs, formulate improvement plans, and escalate for management reporting
  • Set up and perform regular independent monitoring on the quality of CDD deliverables, and standardize the related control process
  • Apply quality assurance methodologies to improve the CDD quality to meet the bank standards
  • Play the custodian role to manage, develop / maintain and control customer forms

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in disciplines related to internal control, operational risk, quality assurance or project management
  • At least 10 years of solid experience in banking operations with in-depth knowledge of risk and control framework
  • Organized, detail minded, and strong problem solving and influencing skill and strong leadership
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
