The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) is an independent, self-funded and not-for-profit statutory body. Its main role is to conduct the HKDSE. It also administers other assessment projects and examinations leading to academic, professional or practical qualifications on behalf of international examining bodies and local professional bodies. Applications are now invited for the following post:
Senior Officer - Finance
Duties:The appointee is responsible for the review and preparation of financial statement and reports, annual budget and periodic forecast, support the development and enhancement of management information system, and support the cost evaluation of business initiatives, cost management and control with the objective to produce timely and accurate management information within the set policies and guidelines of the Authority.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
A member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”) or other recognized professional accountancy bodies;
At least 6 years’ accounting experience and preferably with 3 years’ management accounting experience;
Strong knowledge in the areas of finance analysis, financial and management accounting;
Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office applications and preferably with knowledge in accounting information system;
Good analytical skill and numerical sense;
Good communication skills in English and Chinese;
Able to work under pressure; and
Candidate with less working experience will be considered as Officer – Finance.
Employment Terms: The remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will initially be on a fixed-term contract with MPF benefits, medical and dental care. Future employment may be offered on renewable contracts subject to performance and staffing needs.
