We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Settlement Manager.

In this role, you will

  • Ensure all procedures are carried out following the required processing steps and control points under the roles responsibility areas
  • Proactively identify problems and provide solutions promptly as well as reporting any foreseeable operations problems and resources issues to provide preventive measures
  • Maintain a high level standard of customer service and accuracy in works with respect to settlement and related duties
  • Involve and contribute in new business workflow planning as well as providing recommendations or plan implementation to enhance customer services
  • Assist the team manager to oversee daily settlement tasks of the team
  • Monitor the performance of the Securities Services Operations, Global Banking and Markets Service Centre located in Malaysia and Manila

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • University graduated with proven experience in securities fields and an excellent understanding of global securities and derivatives markets and products including market practice detail
  • Solid experienced in team management
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with custodian, customers and service providers
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skill
  • Good command of spoken and written English, with additional proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Good knowledge and experience in using various systems

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
