Our client is a leading garment manufacturing group with world class manufacturing plants across Asia and branch offices around the world. The group is well known for its capability of innovation and high quality products. Due to business expansion, the team is looking to hire a Social Compliance Manager to join the team.

About your role:

Report to Senior Compliance Manager, you will manage the CSR team on group level. Key area including Environmental, Health and Safety; labor and C-TPAT; You will be the primary contact for external customers and internal business units for social compliance audits as well as C-TPAT certification, WRAP certification, Brand Protection and related follow up. You will also support to factory staff in handling social compliance audits, evaluate findings and develop Corrective Action Plans. Last but not least, you will provide resources, guidelines and training on garment compliance standards of FLA, WRAP, Sedex, SA8000, ISO14000, BSCI to internal business units

The successful Candidate:
  • University graduate with minimum 8 years work experience in Corporate Responsibility / Compliance / Human Resources / Health and Safety, preferably in a labor intensive manufacturing industry, garment industry experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of China / HR labor, environment, health and safety regulations and international labor standards, and a general understanding of labor environment in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Malaysia and Mauritius
  • Knowledge of audit procedures including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audit
  • Understanding of global supply chain business model and the role in economic development and labor related issues in garment industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English. Proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus
