Department of Geography
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Geography, a Master’s degree in Geography or other related disciplines, and a good command of written and spoken English as well as communication skills. Those with experience in conducting tutorials are preferred. The appointee will support the Common Core curriculum, and the undergraduate curriculum where necessary; assist individual course teachers and the Head of Department in conducting tutorials; compile reading lists and documentary sources; search and develop new teaching materials; evaluate coursework assignments; coordinate field visits and class activities; manage class lists and course schedules/timetables; provide tutorial and academic support to students outside class; upload and manage the web-based elements of courses for the Department’s Common Core and undergraduate courses; and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
