Responsibilities:-

  • Create and implement effective brand building, public relations, issues management and marketing communications programmes to boost the positive awareness of the Corporation
  • Work with the senior management team to develop the corporate communication strategy and marketing programmes that will build and maintain a prominent corporate profile
  • Support Chairperson, CEO and other senior executives for profile management, media interviews, speech writing, speaking opp engagements and marketing presentations
  • Provide value added services to incubatees and Park companies for marketing promotion of their innovations and business through product launch, media interview and press release, so as to raise market appreciation of the contribution that Science Park and HKSTP are making to the innovation and technology sector
  • Organise and host visits of VIPs which include government officials, political parties, industry representatives and overseas delegations
  • Effective management of issues and crisis through well prepared response to media enquiries
  • Work with external agencies to for PR support, as well as research and survey of public perception of the Corporation
  • Actively seek out-of-the-box opportunities to promote the Corporation to key stakeholders which include the general public, universities, business communities and overseas & local organizations
  • Keep abreast of industry trends to help develop leading strategies to support the Corporation in achieving its business objectives and goals

 

Requirements:-

  • University Degree in Public Relations, Branding, Communications or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in areas of public relation, branding & media relations, of which 10 years in managerial position
  • Previous experience in working for sizable corporations
  • Proven track record to initiate effective publicity programmes to contribute to meet company objectives
  • Proactive and enthusiastic team player
  • Strong analytical, organization, management and problem solving skills
  • Strong language skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
