Main Duties

  • Supervise and manage Structural Engineers and Support Shops team, and the development of their supporting services to other departments
  • Support Planning & Production Control team, Support Shops team and Base Maintenance Production team against Technical Assistance Requests and on all technical matters
  • Act as prime company technical interface between type design/certificate holders, or suitable rated and approved Part-21 Design Organizations (DOA), including the management of any dedicated manufacturer’s technical data on-line portal
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance Department on day-to-day technical related matters affecting technical standards and production control procedures
  • Support Supply & Stores Department on technical matters arising from tooling, equipment and material requests, orders and spare parts support
  • Assist Commercial & Customer Support Department on customer technical liaison, and contract evaluation
  • Offer full technical support to aircraft maintenance and support shop operations


Requirements

  • Degree holder in Engineering disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Holder of valid HKAR-66 B1/B2 or ICAO Type II License, with type rating is a definite advantage
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance industry in which 3 years in management position
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Sound experiences in technical know-how, staff management and project management
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and PC skills
  • Mature and outgoing, able to work independently and make decision under pressure
