Trade Analyst (Latin & OMEA) & (Europe)

(Latin & OMEA) 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for Trade Lane reports and distribute trade related information via intranet;
  • Support with RFQ bid, tender inquiries, ocean freight billing issues, space and allocation,
  • Manage pricing requirements with FAK, SPOT and NAC contracts;
  • Monitor and steer volume in accordance to our carrier policy and strategy;
  • Maintain contracts and audit rates in the rate engine;
  • Interact with sales and business developers in order to promote the Trades;
  • Resolve operational problems and handle ad hoc assignment when required; 

 Requirements 

  • Degree holder in Logistics or related disciplines;
  • Solid experience in pricing and procurement with shipping lines;
  • Commercial and operational experience is considered as a plus;
  • Strong analytical and good interpersonal skills with cross-cultural empathy;
  • Competency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint and excel;
  • Proficiency in spoken and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Junior Trade Support

 

(Europe)

 Responsibilities: 

  •  Responsible for producing and developing Trade Lane related reports as required by Trade Management
  • Assist to manage space-related issues to ensure the smooth flow of customers’ cargoes
  • Adhere to rate and pricing-related requirement, e.g. FAK, NAC, RFQ, Tenders, etc.,
  • Maintain trade-related system, e.g. Freightos, Community Intranet, etc.,
  • Assist with Capacity Management, Routing instruction towards Company’s target
  • Monitor and steer the volume and GP growth in response to each carrier is policy
  • Distribute trade related market information and materials as when is required
  • Responsible for all other trade-related matter as and required 

 Requirements: 

  • Operational experience in Seafreight shipping /logistics
  • Commercial experience in negotiating rates/space issues directly with carriers
  • Good communication skills towards external vendors/carriers and internal offices, both within Asia and on a Global basis
  • Familiar with Excel, Word and Power Point, as well as comfortable with PC & IT based tools an
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and good team-player
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
