Applicants should have (i) a post-secondary Diploma or Higher Certificate, preferably in Biology, Environmental Science or Geography; OR at least 5 years’ relevant site supervising experience, with Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE/HKDSE (including English and Mathematics); (ii) at least 1 year’s post-qualification supervisory experience in operation and maintenance of landscaping field; (iii) the ability to prepare tenders, reports, etc. in both English and Chinese; (iv) good computer skills, including MS Office applications and AutoCAD; and (v) good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight schedules. Possession of additional qualifications in Horticulture, Arboriculture or Landscape Management, or a valid Hong Kong Driving Licence (Class 2), will be advantageous. The appointee will (a) supervise project works; (b) lead and supervise internal staff to carry out landscaping maintenance activities and planting works; (c) perform regular inspection on landscape; (d) perform other landscaping tasks as assigned; (e) liaise with stakeholders about landscaping matters; and (f) carry out frequent outdoor works. The appointee may be required to work overtime and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays when necessary. Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
