Funmobile seeks brightest for expansion

Thanks to continuing expansion, Funmobile, a provider of mobile and internet-based entertainment products and services, is on the lookout for information technology and marketing specialists.

"Our business already covers more than 80 countries worldwide and we are always looking for potential new markets," says senior human resources executive Erico Ma. "To make that happen, we need to keep on attracting the brightest, most creative and talented people."

The company has immediate plans to hire 15 programming and design professionals and 10 marketing recruits.

Programmers will be responsible for developing Web or mobile applications in different technical languages. They will also have to ensure programs behave according to specifications by conducting unit, integration and regression tests. "Our designers will need to do the graphics and templates for Web pages and artwork for Web and game projects," Ma says. "The marketing professionals will help to develop new markets, conduct research and build partnerships with mobile operators, content providers, internet advertisers and publishers to generate sales revenue."

Ideally, candidates should have a relevant degree or diploma with one or two years' work experience. For the marketing positions, knowledge of European languages other than English will be an advantage.

"We value people who are energetic, creative and passionate about the mobile and internet industry," Ma says. "Fresh graduates with the right profile will also be considered."
