A new chapter: Classified Post Select reloaded
Everything changes except change itself. And so it is with Classified Post Select.
Slightly more than two years since the launch of Fuel, the precursor of Select, we are putting this much-beloved title on "standby mode" as we set forth on a bold adventure into a brave new media world abuzz with innovations in formats, delivery platforms and user interactivity.
The main aim of this shift is closer integration with Classified Post, the flagship title of the South China Morning Post's Recruitment Services division, which includes our Chinese-language sister publication Jiu Jik and online products such as smartjob.com educationpost.com.hk and classifiedpost.com
What we hope to achieve is a seamless delivery of crucial services to HR industry players and jobseekers across formats: in print and online, on desktops and via mobile devices.
We will interact more with our readers through established and emerging social media platforms, sharing story ideas and information that jobseekers and HR industry players cannot do without in these days of dizzying market shifts.
By shifting most of Select's popular contents to the Saturday pages of Classified Post, we will be offering new and improved sections to serve a broader range of career-orientated individuals - from top executives to ambitious university graduates.
We will present more thematic special reports focusing on key industries, such as banking and finance, property and construction, education, engineering and technology, hospitality, food and beverage, and sales and marketing.
There will also be more user-friendly contents to guide jobseekers, such as interview tips, networking pointers, insider insights into successful careers, and exclusive guidance from our eminent panel of Career Doctors. Think of it as career counselling on demand.
There are many more features and services in store for our readers, so don't forget to grab your copy of the new Classified Post from August 25. We hope you can join us as this Select chapter closes and a new one begins.
