Assistant Student Affairs Manager (SAO) - (Ref: 260020I)

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Planning, organising, and executing student development programmes to enhance students' essential holistic skills;

  • Managing student leadership initiatives, including Student Ambassador Programme and First-Year Experience Programme;

  • Supporting the development of office-wide performance indicators and evaluation mechanisms;

  • Providing and coordinating relevant skills-training opportunities for students;

  • Implementing out-of-classroom experiential learning activities as a pedagogical approach through which students acquire knowledge and skills through hands-on experience;

  • Coordinating student services and committee work; and

  • Undertaking any other duties as assigned.


Candidates
Applicants are expected to possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:

  • A recognised degree, preferably a higher degree, with 5 years' post-qualification experience;

  • A genuine interest in working with and for students to support their development;

  • Strong project management and training skills;

  • A high level of self-motivation and ownership, with the ability to solve problems and work both independently and collaboratively; and

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).


Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
