IT Network & Security Specialist (Linux, over $60K)

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new IT security measures, enhancements, and network infrastructure solutions

• Oversee penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA), and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)

• Review, update, and maintain IT security documentation, policies, and guidelines

• Liaise with internal teams and IT contractors to ensure successful outsourced implementation

• Execute system/software upgrades, patch management, and routine infrastructure support

• Provide support during irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays as required

• Perform duties primarily at the Yau Ma Tei office, with responsibilities extending to Cheung Sha Wan

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
  

About you

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related subjects

• Minimum 4 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role

• Active credentials such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are highly preferred

• Strong background in Information Security Management, Network/Application Security, IT Security Compliance, and Linux System Administration

• Proven track record in SRAA, PIA, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing

• Experience managing IT contractors, monitoring project progress, and validating SLA compliance

• Familiarity with AD, NGFW, PAM, EDR, NDR, IAM, SIEM, and system hardening

• Understanding of DLP, XDR, and UEM solutions

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
