IT Security Specialist (Linux, SRAA, over $60K)

Job Duties:

• Spearhead the planning and deployment of new IT security initiatives, enhancement measures, and network infrastructure solutions.

• Oversee and facilitate critical security operations, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, Security Risk and Audit reviews (SRAA), and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).

• Maintain and revise IT security policies, documentation, and procedural guidelines to ensure ongoing compliance.

• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors to manage outsourced implementation projects.

• Execute system upgrades, apply security patches, and provide routine infrastructure maintenance and support.
  

Job Requirement:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

• At least 4 years’ experience in IT industry

• At least 2 years’ experience in Information Security Management, Network/Application Security, IT Security Compliance and Linux System Administration

• At least 2 years’ experience in conducting IT security exercises (such as Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA), Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), Vulnerability Scanning, and Penetration Testing)

• At least 2 years’ experience in managing IT contractors, monitoring on-site project implementation progress, and validating Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance
