FINANCE MANAGER (35K-40K) - manufacturer consumer electrical & electronic product (Kwai Fong/5 days)

• We serve overseas customers worldwide, including established international brands, retailers and importers. With strong OEM/ODM capabilities, we support customers from product concept and development through to production and delivery.

ROLE MISSION :

• Lead and strengthen the finance and accounting function across the Hong Kong office and Dongguan factory, ensuring accurate financial reporting, sound financial controls, and efficient financial operations.

• Partner closely with the Business Owner and management team to support effective cash-flow management, inventory controls, financial planning, and overall business performance.

ROLE SUMMARY :

• Reporting directly to the Business Owner, you will lead the Hong Kong accounting team of two accountants; and oversee the accounting and finance function of the Dongguan manufacturing plant. 

• You will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, costing, cash-flow planning, audit, tax, internal controls, and management analysis.

• The position requires regular travel to Dongguan. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Lead and supervise the Hong Kong accounting team, currently comprising two Accountants.

• Oversee the accounting and finance operations of the Dongguan factory, working closely with the local finance team.

• Handle full-set accounts, month-end and year-end closing, financial consolidation, audit, and tax-related matters.

• Prepare timely management reports, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial analysis for management review.

• Review factory costing, inventory controls, gross-margin performance, working capital, and production-related financial data.

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax advisers, and other professional service providers.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making and overall business performance.

• Travel to Dongguan as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE :

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Solid finance and accounting experience gained from manufacturing companies is essential.

• Experience in consumer electrical, electronics, lighting, OEM/ODM, export, or factory-based environments is highly preferred.

• An advantage for candidates who are Qualified Accountants, such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, inventory control, cash-flow management, and internal controls.

• Proven experience in leading an accounting team in Hong Kong and overseeing factory finance teams in China.

• Hands-on, analytical, detail-minded, commercially aware, and able to work independently.

• Good communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

• Experience using Kingdee accounting system is an advantage.

• Willing to travel to Dongguan regularly.
