FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - Hong Kong & Dongguan - electrical & electronic product manufacturing group (Kwai Fong)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

• We are a long established Hong Kong-based manufacturer and exporter with production operations in Dongguan.

• The company specializes in consumer electrical & lighting products, and has strong OEM/ODM manufacturing capabilities.

• It serves international customers across overseas markets, including global lighting brands and other well-known brand owners.

ROLE MISSION

• Lead the finance function across Hong Kong and Dongguan, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and effective support to manufacturing operations.

• Partner with management to improve cost efficiency, cash flow, internal control, and overall business performance.

• Support decision-making for both OEM/ODM operations and the company’s own product lines.

ROLE SUMMARY

• This is a hands-on Financial Controller role covering Hong Kong and China operations.

• You will manage a small team in Hong Kong and oversee Dongguan factory finance function.

• The role requires regular travel to Dongguan.

• Experience in Kingdee is a plus.

• Qualified Accountant is required, with strong manufacturing experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and manage the finance team in Hong Kong, with 2–3 subordinates.

• Oversee finance operations for the Dongguan factory and coordinate with local teams.

• Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.

• Manage full-set accounts, month-end and year-end closing, consolidation, audit, and tax matters.

• Review factory costing, inventory control, gross margin analysis, and working capital.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls.

• Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax advisors, and external service providers.

• Support system improvement and process enhancement projects.

• Travel to Dongguan as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Qualified Accountant is required.

• Strong finance experience in manufacturing companies is required.

• Proven background in cost accounting, financial control, reporting, and team management.

• Hands-on, analytical, and commercially aware.

• Experience with Kingdee is an advantage.

• Comfortable working across Hong Kong and China operations.

• Willing to travel to Dongguan.
